The conference is dedicated to
celebrating the 75th anniversary of Professor R. Rudzkis
and the 70th anniversary of the former Institute of Physics and Mathematics
September 13–19, 2026
Conference Schedule (to be announced).
Arrival – September 13 (Sunday); departure – September 19 (Saturday).
Conference venue: Hotel Gabija (Vytauto st. 40 / S. Dariaus ir S. Girėno st. 2), the large conference hall Jūra.
Accommodation:
– Hotel Gabija or other hotels in Palanga (participants are kindly asked to book their own accommodation);
– Vilnius University's Conference, seminar and leisure centre Romuva. Please indicate this option in the registration form or contact us at
- Accommodation at Romuva is paid upon arrival. Room rates: double room (without kitchen) – 42 € per night; double room (with kitchen) – 46 € per night; triple room (with kitchen) – 56 € per night;
- Distance from Romuva to Gabija: approximately 1 km (about a 15-minute walk).
Registration deadline: August 15, 2026. Registration fee: 250 € (payable by September 1, 2026).
Retired academics who no longer hold academic positions are welcome to contact the organizers regarding possible discounts. The registration fee includes social activities, coffee breaks, and the conference dinner.
